Stop and Smell the Flowers

Since no one ever brings me flowers I thought I would make some for myself!  It cheer'd me up! I love flowers! They're so pretty!

Recipe:
* Walk in My Garden Cricut Cartridge = Flowers, Stems, Vase
* Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (love language) = Flowers, (textile) Vase
* Ink it up ink (black) = Vase
* Color box chalk (chestnut roan) = Flowers
* doodlebug design inc.(bright assort) = jewels
* Cardstock = bazzill bling (vase), yellow, pink, purple, 3 different greens (stems)
* Puffy adhesive squares
I cut the vase out at 5" then used textile embossing folder and while it was still in folder I used black ink to bring out the design. Note: apply softly, trying to only bring out design
I then cut the flowers and stems ranging from 3" to 1.5" and different colors, then I used love language embossing folder on them, again while still in the folder I used chestnut roan and lightly applied to bring out heart design. I then arranged the flowers how I liked and glued! I used puffy squares to add some depth.
TYFL!  Enjoy!

Christmas Project

K! So hopefully my friend Adrianne doesn't do something abnormal like look at my blog... This is her Christmas present but I just had to share.
This is a plaque that I made for her to hang on her front door or wherever she would like.  I got the Idea from another crafter at Cricut.com. (yes I totally scraplifted this idea) Thank you Crafter for the inspiration!
So I went to LHS and picked up boards that were 5 1/2 by 12 1/2 (inches)
I picked the back ground paper- some misc paper I bought in a pack
Cut the snowmen from bazzill paper using - cricut doodlecharms cartridge - 4 & 31/2  (inches)
Then I cut the trees from bazzill paper using - cricut doodlecharms cartridge
I don't remember what size... (oops)
I used regular ribbon around the snow men!
Last but not least I used Cricut Alphalicious Cartridge for the letters!
Thanks for looking... I would appreciate any comments!
P.S. Kamie I left the pic humungo just for u girl!

The Many Faces of Kyleea!

Finally! This page took forever! I have to admit tho it did take inspiration from Nanne @ Nannes creations! I saw a layout she did on a botanical garden and I loved it! So Thank You Nanne!           Here it is.... Drum roll pleeeeezzzzzeee!
I love it! You love it too!
Kyleea, she cracks me up on a daily basis! Thank heavens for little kids! Giving us laughter and joy everyday!

Close up views!

close up on flowers and side view to show depth! I used pop ups on the flowers and bent the edges just a little!
So now you can see why it took me so long to finish this page. And it is totally different from what I started with! Isn't it amazing how you see the layout in your head but by the time you are done it isn't anything like that picture. This one was hard because of so many pics. And I started originally with 2 pg LO.. funny huh!
So I used In my garden cartridge for all the flowers. And Opposites attract for the lettering. I got the shiny/glittery pink floral at M's in the Christmas deco.
Thank you all for looking and being patient! Enjoy

Update!

So I haven't posted here in a while because I have been working on a 2 page layout of my niece.  I just can't seem to get it right.. Nothing looks good.  But I guarantee when its done it will be worth the wait. Have a great day all!

This is a card my good friend Adrianne made for a birthday girl tommorrow! Cute huh!

Comic Cards!

So I was sitting here one day(trying to get inspiration) and I thought hummmmm..... I wonder what a card would like like with a comic strip on it. So I grab the comic section of the paper and I found this very true comic strip that I just had to make a card out of...
Yup Love and Marriage... I used the Cricut for the yellow label(forgot what cart :( ) and used design studio (so that I could weld the letters) with the opposites attract cart for marriage.
So these are close ups of the comic strip... just so you get the full effect!
So these two pics are the inside of the card... just to add to the fun! I hope you like and TYFL!

Please Feed the Ducks!

I took my Niece and Nephew to feed the ducks! It was so fun a duck came up to Kyleea and almost ate bread right out of her hand! Some "strange" lady was trying to help Kolton feed the ducks so I could get a picture... But he wouldn't listen to her at all. It was so funny.  I think these pics are so precious. I love these kids!
My little ducky (cut from animal kingdom- I think - size 8") has cute Googlie Eyes! I love 'em. I used chalk to outline and add definition.

Printed this off from Scrapbook Factory. Added the leaves (CM punch) and some fuzzy ribbon around the edge to give depth. I used the George cart to cut the ovals.

(side view to show depth)

Sat October 4th: National Scrapbooking Day!

Did you Scrap?    I did! (Its always nice having a small get away with friends)
Here are a couple of things I accomplished!
So I went to my Mother-in-Law's house for my 3 day weekend.  We stay up until 4 am and scrap.  We have so much fun.  I wish that I lived closer so we could "party" all the time!
So this pic is a small gift box.  Perfect for co-workers a small little something to say Happy Halloween!  There is a pattern for the box on scrapbook factory and I used paper that I downloaded.  The yellow strip along the top was hand cut and written then paste!  I cut the spider from Doodlecharms cart!
This pic was inspired for the Cricut Card Fairy Army. The saying and butterflies are stampin up. The flower was cut from My Garden cart. Finished off by ribbon tied around a large buckle type brad!

Daring Cardmakers challenge

Okay, so I was sitting here being bored on Sunday trying to figure out what to make next and I couldn't come up with anything. So I started wondering around and looking at the challenges for this week... Daring Cardmakers had a "sunflower" challenge and this is what I came up with. Hope you all enjoy, as I have never done a challenge before. Let me know what you think.
I used Park Buddies paper, the pic is from PC HugBug, the flowers and tags are cut from George Cart.

Are you ready for October?

Well October is comming and will be here before we know it! Are you ready? I am getting geared up for the season. This is a 12x12 page that is supposed to be the top of a calendar, however, I never completed the calendar part of the project... This page turned out so cute that I decided to put it in my scrap book with Halloween pics! This whole page was done with the Paperdolls cartridge. I believe on 3" for everything. Hope you enjoy making it as much as I did. Don't forget to chalk or ink the edges. It gives everything a little more character.
