My own little blog hop!

Hey everyone! So I am working on a few layouts from my niece and nephew's first trip to the zoo. I think they are turning out quite well. I used a little bit of Cricut & Cuttlebug so I think I will post 1 page on each of my blogs just so none feel left out! ***giggle***  So this is the first page of the lo! Enjoy!
Recipe:
Cricut Carts used: George and basic shapes (star and circle background), Opposites Attract (words), Design Studio to weld the letters & make the circle in the background.
Cuttlebug embossing folder: D'vine Swirls
Paper: black cs (base), Creative memories "cottage collection" (background), Rusty Pickle (Fancy mat, polka dot, stars and stripes), PC Hug bug (tiger stripes), Bazzill Bling (trip and zoo)
PC Hug Bug: computer generated image (tiger)
Ink: Martha Stewart (brown and black)
Painted Daisy ribbon, buttons from stash
I think that about does it! Now hop on over to the Cuttlebug Blog to see the next page!
TYFL, Enjoy!

3 Card Challenges

Good Sunday morning everyone! I decided to hop around this morning and found that I could make 1 card for 3 different challenges this week. Wow! It was so much fun, and all the elements fit together!
First is CPS sketch #150:
Absolutly Fabulous!
Second is DCM "Hole in One":    Make a card with at least one hole in it!
Third is BBTB2:  Make a Valentine's project using ANY Cricut Cartridge, but it must have PURPLE! (my favorite color)

So here is what I came up with!

Close ups! (click on pic for larger image)

Birthday Gift

Happy Birthday to my good friend Annie! She loves the "country kitchen" idea. I hope she likes it!

I just love the way these stars turned out! You can't tell from the pics, but they look like wooden stars!

(close up of cranberrys)
When I started this project I went through all my carts trying to get the best "cranberry" branch. This is the one I thought worked the best. And I finally started using my Cricut Design Studio. This is actually my first project using it. So lets get down to the recipe!
Cricut Cartridges = Home Decor (branches), Doodlecharms (cranberrys), George and Basic Shapes (stars), Hello Kitty font (kelsey), Jasmine(home, story, our), Alphalicious (is, where, begins)
Cricut Design Studio = weld the letters together
Paper = Sassafras lass (background), dk brown(branches), dk maroon(cranberrys), black (letters), golden (stars)
Ink = Ink it up- brown (stars, cranberrys, branches)
White colored pencil (cranberrys)
The board was bought at Lowes and is 5.5 X 24. I cut the background paper slightly bigger than the board.
Well I hope to have inspired. Don't forget to leave some love! Enjoy!
